The Drip Gorge is a landmark of cathedral-like beauty near Ulan, NSW, and a site of great significance to the traditional owners, the Wiradjuri people. It was sold to a mining company without assurance of its conservation, provoking successful local community action to seeking its protection. The beauty of the site and the poignancy of its endangerment inspired me to visit to make an artist’s record of a stunning Australian landscape.
