ABOUT KAY

Kay is a Queensland-based visual artist who works out of her Ipswich studio. Her practice embraces portraiture, landscape and still lifes as well as the never ending fascination with exploring the visual resonances between the human figure and the environment. Much of her work is inspired by the Australian landscape and her current works aim to further this exploration.

In 2025, she has been shortlisted for the Milburn Art Prize with her work "Ana in Shangri-La" and had two still lifes shown as a part of the Floral Narratives exhibition at Lethbridge Gallery.
